ABOUT
Volunteers for Recovery is designed to be a peer-supported community. We encourage our participants to build a supportive network in the recovery community and within the residence. These relationships can provide a strong foundation for lasting recovery. Many of these relationships will remain intact after you have completed the program.
STRUCTURE & SUPPORT
Volunteers for Recovery is here to provide structure and support while residents learn to navigate their life while clean & sober. The House Guidelines and regular screenings for drugs and alcohol help hold the residents accountable. Peers in the residence may also hold other residents accountable. This creates a safe and healthy environment for individuals to recover from substance use.
A ONE-YEAR PROGRAM
The program is designed to be one (1) year long, although this depends on your willingness, progress, and commitment to recovery.
Graduates have the option to stay with the Volunteers for Recovery family at one of our Graduate Houses pending availability.
We partner local and national organizations to provide a “back to work” program that is designed to offer financial stability very quickly.
We cooperate with all judicial entities to ensure that residents maintain compliance with their supervision during their stay. Volunteers for Recovery offers multiple residences for Men and Women age 18 and older.
